Our Client is a leading European-based modular construction developer and manufacturer with a reputation for the delivery of first-class modular construction to leading commercial and hospitality Clients.
Our Client seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the UK and to support the corporate strategy for major growth in operating sectors.
This would suit an experienced business development professional from within the construction or engineering sector (possibly with modular construction experience but not essential) and who is based in the UK, and preferably with Client connections in the commercial and hospitality industries.

Working days / time and Salary
5 days per week (Monday thru Friday). May include out-of-hours activity.
20 days’ paid leave plus statutory UK holidays.
Periodic international travel within Europe.

Role and responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of business development activity for the UK.
Develop a business development strategy, in conjunction with the in-house strategic team, and be responsible for its implementation and success.
Be accountable for front-end Client relationship from opportunity identification and development through to contract award, and co-ordinate with technical and Client teams throughout for exception transition management.
Responsible for establishing and developing trusted Client relationships
Experience, qualifications, and attributes
Min 15 years’ experience in business development and a resident in the UK.
Min 10 years’ experience in the construction & engineering industries in the UK.
Modular experience advantageous.
Client contract database essential.
Experience in residential developments, hotels, and the hospitality sectors.
Excellent communication skills, both in-person and by phone.
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
